By all accounts, Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show literally put the lights out. And for the price, it was a steal. She is at the top of her game and reaps huge rewards, earning about $70 million annually.

Beyonce brought her superstar status to New Orleans as she took over the Super Bowl for a spectacular half-time show featuring a special Destiny's Child reunion.
The Super Bowl kicked off with Beyonce's Dreamgirls co-star Jennifer Hudson as she paid tribute to victims of the December shooting at Newtown, Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School by performing America the Beautiful with the school's choir, while Alicia Keys belted out the National Anthem while playing a grand piano.
The rumors turned out to be true.
Beyoncé did, indeed, reunite Destiny's Child during the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans on Sunday.
Mostly, however, the 31-year-old entertainer used the showcase to illustrate all the reasons why she left the band in the first place.
Beyoncé shimmered with pure star power throughout the show, delivering the kind of charisma and stage presence that Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Madonna and other dance-pop icons only wish they could summon.
The special effects were awesome, and I loved the technology and video screens, but the show was pretty uninspiring.
